In Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm Episode 7 & 8, British troops stop Topkapili with his friends and load the guns on the ships and inform that they will identify their identity. Topkapili takes off his gun to avoid revealing. While Pandikyan rescues them from the soldiers. Husamettin comes to know from Ali Riza that Musarfa Kemal will receive the money on the wish of Sagir to establish an Indian-Turkish charity association. Husamettin doesn’t permit Sagir to pass over as an authority. This situation makes Ali Riza bothers. Galip thanks Nazan for her assistance. Salih Pasha thinks that Damat Ferit will build a new state with the help of the British and decides to resign because he has no solution.
In Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm Episode 7 & 8, Damat Ferit organizes a meeting with Shaykh al-Islam to his mansion. Ferit tells that Mustafa Kemal is a liar and will do everything to get strength. Sagir meets Ali Riza and gives him money to pay the salaries of the manager of the association. Nazan wishes to see Galip’s house where he meets his family. Husamettin informs to Topkapili that Sagir desires to move towards Ankara to collect information. Galip goes home with Nazan and introduces Nazan to his family. When Nazan and Galip come back, there is a fight between the people and British troops. Nazan tells her family about the occupation of Istanbul and its bad things.

Nazan says to Galip that she is ashamed by her family but now she has open eyes, while Galip says he will do something for saving her home. Topkapili discusses to Kalchi to take part in the tender. Topkapili comes to know that the grand vizier is Damat Ferit. At the train station, Mustafa Kemal, Halide, and Adnan Bey meet. Damat Ferit blames the Unionists to be the believer of being Bolshevik and includes the Ottoman into battle. Mustafa Kemal with his friends discusses about related to the present government and state of people created by Damat Ferit.
In Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm Episode 7 & 8, But Mustafa Kemal refuses to recognize the new state and the deputies which are elected by Ferit to form the assembly. Galip transfers the info to Topkapili from the mansion. Halide Edip suggests setting up an agency to describe the traitors and the national struggle to all over the nation of Anatolia. Mustafa Kemal agrees to Halide Edip. A letter from the Adapazari receives in which there is mentioned that the Istanbul telegraph has been begun working. Topkapili goes to the secret telegraph center and asks about the arrival of weapons, but Mustafa Kemal tells the weapons have not arrived yet. Ferit speaks to journalists related to the traitors of the previous government and says they will be vanished.

Damat Ferit first meets Robeck and informs them that he will work for the British in conformity. Ferit tells his plan that he uses the spiritual power of Padishah in the opposite of the revolts, if it does not work, he will construct an army to war with the rebels. Mustafa Kemal organizes a meeting and the current situation in Istanbul is explained by Adnan Bey. Robeck says to the government to cancel the national campaign. Damat Ferit agrees to this and says that Shaykh Islam will announce the fatwa against the revolts. Damat Ferit reveals the secret that there are terrible people around the Padishah.
In Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm Episode 7 & 8, Mustafa Kemal has received bad news from Istanbul secret telegraph which is about the national effort in Anatolia. Damat Ferit tells to the society members of the friends of British that what he said to Robeck. Ismet and Celalettin Arif go to Ankara. Mustafa Kemal says to Celalettin Arif that the assembly which has strong powers will have executive power as well as the legislative power. The friend of Kalchi Italian succeeds in the tender and receives the guns. Mustafa Kemal is little ill and Adnan Bey goes to examine him and says to take rest. Galip informs Topkapili related to the info which he got from the Nazan’s home papers he received. Topkapili says to Galip to tell this new to Ishan so that he can forward it to Ankara.
In Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm Episode 7 & 8, Ismet Pasha returns to Ankara and tells that the further soldiers are taking part in the national struggle. Damat Ferit comes to know about the new announcement by Mustafa Kemal and says he has already heard about this establishment. Ferits comes to know that there are some traitors in the telegraph in Istanbul. Damat Ferit warns British soldiers and then they just ask about the secret line. Husamettin is captured due to the mistake of Osman. Mustafa Kemal discusses related to the bad news which he has received. Ismet Pasha gives his view that Ankara will be ruined if the assembly is not opened.
