Dudaktan Kalbe (From the lips to the heart) with English Subtitles
Adapted from the novel written by Turkish novelist Resat Nuri Guntekin in 1925. The main purpose of the writer is that the main character will not be able to fall in love again because of the pangs of love, and that is why love consists only of words that will come out of his lips. So love will never go down to his heart from the lips of the main character again. Different events take place between the four characters of the series (Kenan, Lamia, Cavidan and Cemil).
Kenan; As a child, his father committed suicide in prison, and this incident deeply injured him. His uncle, Saib Bey, takes care of him and raises him. Kenan sells his mother’s shop and takes music lessons in Europe with the money he receives.
Cemil; Kenan’s cousin. Although Cemil knows that Leyla does not love him, he marries Leyla (Kenan’s first love). Leyla can never forget Kenan, and therefore her marriage gets worse and worse.
Lamia; another main character, loves Kenan’s music. Just like Kenan, Lamia has lost her family and has to live with her relatives by serving them. One day Lamia and Kenan meet and there is an interaction between them. Despite this, Kenan ignores his feelings and thinks that this relationship will harm his career.
Cavidan; is the daughter of a rich family. The relationship between Kenan and Cavidan improves and they decide to get married.
The series is getting more and more complicated but an unexpected end awaits the viewer. Kenan would be very regretful for what he did and could not take Lamia out of his mind or heart. Cemil and Lamia get married in the final of the series. Kenan, who learns this, commits suicide because of his sadness. Click Here to Rate the Series
